In 2010 Valentine’s Day had a different signification for the citizens of Oradea. Land Consulting Events along with Amalia Judea Art & Fashion organized a memorable evening.
Celebrating love, the evening opened with Laura Pausini’s song Strani Amori performed by Cristina Romocea Cociuba closely followed by a fashion parade sustained by Amalia Judea Art & Fashion models presenting the guests a new and unique fashion: Rock Art. The collection is to be described as the perfect combination between music and clothing, rock music being the muse of Simona Boldis’s work. It was a mysterious collection defined by the colour of black, expressing strength, individuality and sexuality.
The second song of the evening brought to the public the Italian singer Luca Virago in a duet with Cristina Romocea Cociuba, together performing The Prayer originally sang by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli.
Oradea’s fashion industry was once again expressed and presented to the public by Dora Bota’s Miorita Spring collection together with Amalia Judea’s models, show continued by the wonderful duet of Oana Lianu The Panpipe Princess and Luca Virago. The song Besamo Mucho, one of the evergreens performed by many artists like Elvis Presley, Julio Iglesias, Andrea Bocelli or Cesaria Evora, was sung on Valentine’s Day at Grand Palace Restaurant in a more than original style and sound. Oana’s panpipe along with Luca’s instrument imitating skills made up a wonderful and unique performance.
Luca Virago and Natalia Selegean delighted the public with their duets and made the entrance for Cristina Breteanu’s Dor collection. Inspired by the Romanian art, Cristina found her muse in the Romanian national costumes and decorative elements and winning the first place at the National Fashion Show, prize handed by Catalin Botezatu as recognition of the great and original work.
The evening was spiced up by the songs of Luca Virago, Natalia Selegean, Cristina Romocea Cociuba, Carmen Stoica, Alexandra Broinas, Raul Hirian, students at the Francisc Hubic School of Arts and Ovidiu Lazar, whom all together managed to make the public dance and enjoy the Valentine’s Day atmosphere.
Dana Panciu invited the present ladies and gentlemen to see which are the trends for 2010’s party dresses by showing them, helped by Amalia Judea’s models, evening gowns. The dresses were handmade, enriched by lace, stones and other handmade applications; the collection being totally dedicated to the Valentine public.
The youngest and the oldest couples were also awarded with vouchers from our sponsors.
The evening gowns, the prizes for the youngest and oldest couples were followed by a hot show: underwear. The provocative and sexy outfits surprised and delighted the audience, preparing the couples for the Tombola, which was won by the lucky number 13, the winning couple having the pleasure relax for a week in the beautiful Italian Comune Riccione, province of Rimini.
Even if it was at its end the night finished in a hot and pleasurable atmosphere with Raul Hirian’s performance of Sex Bomb by Tom Jones.
